Litter Weight Tracker
Per-puppy weight curves with weekly milestones. Spots fade pups early.
001 / Free tools
A handful of small, useful things I made for my own program first. COI math before a pairing, pedigree certificates that don't look like they were made in Word, morph genetics for New Caledonian geckos, and a listing checker that tells you why Google isn't surfacing your puppies. All free. No signup wall. Use them as long as they help.
002 / The four tools
Every tool here works without an email address. If you want to save or share a result, you can add your email at the end. Otherwise just close the tab when you're done.
Run the inbreeding math on a proposed pairing before you commit to a season. Type the pedigree, hit calculate, get a verdict.
Build a clean 3 to 5-generation pedigree certificate as a PDF. Print it for a new buyer, file it for your records, or include it with a sale.
Predict offspring morph probabilities from a sire and dam, with hets, line traits, and confidence ranges. Built from my own clutch data and refined with the community.
Paste any litter, puppy, or kitten listing URL. The checker tells you what Google sees, what's missing, and what to fix today to start surfacing for the searches your buyers actually run.
003 / Why these are free
The first version of the COI calculator wasn't a product. It was a Saturday morning at the kitchen table trying to figure out whether a pairing made sense before I wasted a season. The morph calculator started the same way, sketched on the back of a feeding chart. So did the listing checker.
Once they worked for me, it felt wrong to charge for them. So I didn't. They live here, free, with no signup wall, no "enter your email to see the result," none of that.
If you find one useful and want to support the work, share Field Notes with another breeder or pick up one of the kits when you need contracts you can actually trust. That's the whole funnel. Use the tools as long as they help. Stick around if the writing or the kits do too.
004 / Once the math is done
If a calculation just convinced you of something that needs to go in writing, here are the kits that finish the job. Real contracts, real procedures, used by working programs across species. Buy once, own forever.
005 / Coming soon
These are next on the build queue. If one of them is the thing you'd actually use, let me know and I'll bump the order. Most ship the month after I need them at home.

006 / Common questions
They're really free. No "enter your email to see the result." No signup wall. No free trial that turns into a subscription. The honest answer to "what's the catch" is that I'm a breeder and I needed these tools myself, so building them was always going to happen. Putting them on the web for everyone else costs me nothing extra.
No. You can use any tool here without an account. If you want to save a result or have it emailed to you, you can add your email at the end. That email goes on the Field Notes list, which sends one short letter every other week. You can unsubscribe with one click.
No and no. I do not sell email lists. I do not run remarketing pixels. The only email you get from me is Field Notes if you opted in, and the very occasional kit announcement if you bought something previously. Both are one-click unsubscribe.
Because the studio earns its living from kits, custom builds, and Breed Ledger subscriptions. The free tools earn trust. People who use a free tool, find it useful, and tell another breeder are how this whole thing grows. That trust matters more than a $5 paywall ever could.
Maybe. Most of the tools here started as a request from another breeder. If the thing you need is on the "coming soon" list, let me know which one and I'll bump it up the queue. If it's not on the list at all, send a note describing what you'd want it to do.
Each tool generates a shareable link after you run it. Paste it into a discussion forum, include it in an email to a co-breeder, or save it to come back to later. No embedding yet, but it's on the roadmap.
