Document · Show & Trial
Use this once a title is certified to capture the certificate number, the finishing show, the judge, and the moment for the program archive.
About this document
A completed title is one of the most significant outcomes a breeding program produces. Most breeders have the certificate in a frame or a folder somewhere, and a general memory of when and where it happened. Ask them the judge's name, the certificate number, or which show finished the run, and most will have to look it up or guess.
The Championship Certificate Log is the program record that answers all of those questions in one place. It's not a tool you use every show. It's the document you complete after a title is certified and keep for the life of your program.
What the document does:
Three sections create a full archive of every title the program has finished. The title log is the quick reference, one row per title in order. The milestones section captures the landmark moments above the point totals. The detail records section gives each significant title its own block with the full accounting of what happened.
What is included:
Format and how it works:
Includes a Word document. Complete one detail record after each title is certified. The title log at the front gets updated the same day the detail record is filled in. Store the document with your program records. The certificate number fields are filled in from the registry's official certificate when it arrives.
Why this version is different:
Most programs have no permanent title record beyond the certificates themselves. When a certificate gets damaged, a program changes hands, or a buyer asks for a complete show history, the gap between "we finished this dog" and "here is the date, the judge, the show, and the certificate number" becomes expensive. The detail records section also captures something the spreadsheets cannot, which is the story of how a title was actually finished and who was there.
Who this is for:
For working breeders who want a permanent, program-level archive of every title their dogs have earned. Especially useful for preservation breeders and show-line programs where historical records have long-term value for buyers and breed documentation. Pairs with the Point and Title Tracker, which is the active tool during the title run, and the Per-Show Results Log, which provides the show-by-show data that feeds into this permanent record.
Buy this document on its own, or pair it with the rest of the Show and Trial Operations Kit at the kit price.

Updates
You bought version 1. When a state adds a registry requirement, a new federal rule lands, or a working breeder catches something that belongs in the document, the new file shows up in your inbox. No upsell, no annual subscription, no "unlock by upgrading." The document is yours, updates included, forever.
Common questions
The contracts were drafted with an attorney and pressure-tested across multiple working programs, but they are templates — not a substitute for a lawyer for your specific state's laws. Each file ships with a clear note about that. Most breeders use them as a starting point and have a local attorney review for state-specific edits.
DOCX. The DOCX opens in Word, Google Docs, Pages, or LibreOffice. Everything is editable.
When I ship a new version of this document, the new file lands in your inbox. Laws shift. A state adds a registry requirement. A working breeder tells me something that belongs in the document. The next version goes out to everyone who bought the previous one. No upsell, no annual subscription.
14-day no-questions-asked refund. If the documentdoesn't fit your operation, you get your money back and I'd genuinely like to hear why so the next version is better.
