Document · Show & Trial
A dog show points tracker spreadsheet covering point totals and title progress for every dog in your program. Auto-calculates remaining points and flags title completion. AKC, UKC, and ABKC reference included.
About this document
Most breeding programs track title progress informally. A rough number in your head. A sticky note on the fridge. A count you reconstruct from memory every time someone asks where a dog stands. That works until you're mid-season with 2 dogs in active title runs and you can't tell which show was a major, whether the confirmed count was right, or how many points are actually left.
The Point and Title Tracker keeps every dog current at all times. One tab per dog. One overview tab that pulls from all of them. Configure the title target once. Enter show results as you go. The math and the status update on their own.
What the document does:
It separates the data entry from the analysis so you're not doing mental math at 11 p.m. after a show weekend. Enter the show results on the dog's tab. The running total, remaining points, percent complete, and status all update without any additional work. The Program Overview tab pulls from every dog tab at the same time, so the whole program is visible on one sheet.
What is included:
Format and how it works:
Includes an editable spreadsheet (.xlsx) with live formulas and conditional formatting. Works in Excel, Apple Numbers, and Google Sheets. Duplicate the Dog Template tab and rename it each time you add a dog. Enter the title target in the configuration block at the top of the dog's tab. Enter show results in the show log as the season runs. The Program Overview updates on its own.
The Title Reference tab is general guidance. Point thresholds, major requirements, and judge requirements vary by breed, region, and entry numbers. Verify current requirements directly with your registry before crediting any win or applying for a title.
Why this version is different:
Most point trackers are blank tables that make you do all the math. This one is built around the formulas that turn raw data into decisions. The major confirmation dropdown, the completion banner, and the program-wide overview are the 3 things that make the difference between a spreadsheet and a tool. The Title Reference tab on its own saves hours of registry research for exhibitors new to a registry or showing under multiple organizations.
Who this is for:
For exhibitors with active title runs who want to know where every dog stands without reconstructing the count from memory or paper. Especially useful for programs with multiple dogs in simultaneous title runs or for breeders showing under multiple registries. Pairs with the Per-Show Results Log, which is the source record this spreadsheet summarizes, and the Championship Certificate Log, which takes over once a title is complete.

Updates
You bought version 1. When a state adds a registry requirement, a new federal rule lands, or a working breeder catches something that belongs in the document, the new file shows up in your inbox. No upsell, no annual subscription, no "unlock by upgrading." The document is yours, updates included, forever.
Common questions
The contracts were drafted with an attorney and pressure-tested across multiple working programs, but they are templates — not a substitute for a lawyer for your specific state's laws. Each file ships with a clear note about that. Most breeders use them as a starting point and have a local attorney review for state-specific edits.
XLSX. The XLSX opens in Excel, Google Sheets, or Numbers. Everything is editable.
When I ship a new version of this document, the new file lands in your inbox. Laws shift. A state adds a registry requirement. A working breeder tells me something that belongs in the document. The next version goes out to everyone who bought the previous one. No upsell, no annual subscription.
14-day no-questions-asked refund. If the documentdoesn't fit your operation, you get your money back and I'd genuinely like to hear why so the next version is better.
Yes, by a wide margin if you need more than two or three documents. The Show Trial Kit bundles this and every other show & trial document for $12.
